3 Things You Shouldn't Do On LinkedIn

I just saw the image above on Linkedin and I totally relate with it.

I've been noticing a lot of activities on LinkedIn which now makes me feel more like I'm on Facebook - so much activities that seem to be against the LinkedIn ethics which is a business oriented social networking service.

LinkedIn likes to consider itself as a professional network – and in fact that’s exactly what it is.

Here are quite a number of things I believe should be left out of Linkedin.

Keep the math quizzes away: Maths quizzes are great for Facebook engagement, but let's keep it there. What works on Facebook, stays on Facebook.

We ain't interested in where you are, where you're going or coming from: Exactly! LinkedIn is a very professional platform and your personal life should be kept personal and off the channel. Nobody is interested in what you ate, where you went or wherever you have been, except professionally.

Your pictures with celebrities : Celebrities? Seriously? If this practice works for you, I'll like to meet you and learn how you do it.
